Nice article, thank you! However I want to share my experience with IG controls with you:

Infragistics ASP.NET Controls and Support for them is nothing but a massive pain in the ass. I’ve been working with that controls in a project but we switched all control usages not to Telerik ASP.NET controls and really feel good with them since they have only few bugs, are fast, excellent forum and support. Each time I was chatting with the Infragistics Support I couldn’t get rid of the feeling about talking to a chat bot.
